my work as a massage therapist began as an exploration of personal growth and transformation. i happened across the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork while living on Kauai, and was drawn to the focus on presence as its own healing tool, and the potency of working holistically with the body, mind and emotions concurrently. less than a year later, i took a course on Thai massage through Ritam Healing Arts. again, i found a juicy depth of spirit and intentionality as the foundations for any work with the body.
throughout this journey, i’ve found a few central motivating drives. i believe in the interconnectedness of all of existence, and i experience it on a smaller scale within my self. while i can distinguish between my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experiences, i rarely (if ever) experience them in isolation.
in my massage practice, i work with human beings in their entirety. i aim to support each person i work with in whatever way will be most effective in helping them come back to a sense of peace and well-being.
